Ever since I learned that Louis Vuitton canvas bags are not leather, but [laminated] canvas, I’ve been over it. Since then I’ve bestowed my fantasy bag-love to the uber expensive leather Louis Vuitton bags, usually the exclusive runway pieces or leather bags by other premiere designers.  But I was browsing Louis Vuitton some time ago and stumbled upon the Louis Vuitton Courtney bag.  I’ve been obsessed with the bag ever since.


The Courtney bag features brass studs down leather straps along the front of the bag which is so in-trend right now.  Studs are everywhere and I’m happy to see the detail within the Louis Vuitton family.


It’s available in white and black multicolor and in 2 different sizes.  The Louis Vuitton Courtney GM is available for $2,800 and the MM is available $2,430.00.

Coach is one brand that has been able to stay versatile over the years. They still do their bestselling signature canvas bags. But it’s the unique bags that usually catch my eye. Teairra Mari attended the Los Angeles Notorious Movie Premiere. She wore graffiti-inspired tights, floral monogram bag, floral scraf and matching shirt, all by Louis Vuitton, and some patent booties. This is a lot of look, as my mother would say. I’m not one to usually combined different patterns, especially patterns that are so busy, but I’m loving this look. *ducks from flying tomatoes*

This is what dressing in your 20′s is supposed to be like: taking chances and rocking a look with confidence. I’m sure 10 years from now, Teaira will look back at this picture and think, “Did I really wear that?” or “Wow remember when I could pull off tights as pants?” Yeah, I have a few of those pictures that I’ll take to my grave…
