Solange performed at the New York Mango flagship store reopening back in November. She wore a v-neck cocktail dress with a belt-like waist detailed and a frayed skirt. She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin Pumps with chain detail around the shoe bed.

The Mango dress, unfortunately, is no longer available. But it just proves that fabulous style doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. And Solange is the queen of combining opulent and low-cost items for a fab look. Loves her for that.

Today’s Dress-A-Day comes from Merona from Target. Yes, the famous Tar-jay. The brown sweater dress with liney plaid fabric has an office feel, but can look office-chic with the right accessories.

The dress already has a belted look, but for a bigger impact pair it with a studded brown belt, brown booties and brown sheer tights, as pictured above. Add an over sized earth tone hobo or clutch and you’ll be ready for work.
