Beyonce was seen around London rocking some rugged high-heeled booties. She wore the ankle-length, buckle and zip boots with a olive green Alice + Olivia Wrapped Goddess Dress ($264.00) and with a blue Alice by Temperley London romper. The booties are by Balenciaga, so I’m sure they cost a pretty penny.

The Dollhouse Lillic Bootie are giving the Balenciage booties a run for their money, or should I say our money as the Lillic bootiess are priced at an affordable $41.67. And dare I say, I like the Lillic booties better.

And Beyonce isn’t the only celeb in love with the Balenciago booties. They’ve also seen on the feet of Taylor Momsen while shooting Gossip Girls; Hilary Duff at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and Zoe Saldana in a Complex Magazine spread.

I’m feeling inspired by Zoe Saldana and thinking of pairing the Dollhouse Lillic Booties with some socks for the fall.

Estelle, Shaunie O’Neal, Keke Palmer, Amber Rose and Amber’s friend Dez have all been seen in the Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe pumps.

Estelle and Keke Palmer hit the red carpet wearing their hearts. Estelle wore the pink version with a Louis Vuitton dress to the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing approximately a year ago. Keke the black version with a yellow bottom with a gun metal prom home-coming-style dress to the BET Awards and after party event.

Shaunie O’Neal went casual with her red hearts. She paired them with black leggings, a black top and a white blazer. She top the look off with a Valentino Double Handle Ruffle bag ($1,197.00).

Amber Rose and Dez paired their hearts with bold and colorful body con dress. Amber Rose wore the pink version with a Paven by Luz & Victoria dress ($78.00) and neon orange Nooka Watches Mercury Sunglasses ($130.00). Dez paired the red version with a rainbow-stripped Herve Leger dress.

DESIGNER ALTERNATE: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN LACE-FRONT

Jada Pinkett Smith attended the 2010 BET Awards wearing a 50′s-inspired onsie, black blazer and black lace-up pumps. Her onsie look received so-so reviews from around the web. For me, the look was scroll-over-able – didn’t love it nor hate it. But I will say that it was forgettable, except for what was on her feet.

Jada stepped out in five and a half-inch heels with a half-inch hidden platform. The front of the vamp has a cutout detail, with laces woven throughout. The design is a bit gothic, but the lace detail makes for a sexy sandal-like feature. An engraved heel is the finishing touch to these haute heels.

Jada wore the Alexander McQueen Lace-front pump. They shoes retail for $1,045.00.

The Chinese Laundry Hint are a good alternate for the Jada’s lace-front pump. They’re missing a few details, such as an engraved pump, but for the price $57.50, that really shouldn’t be a complaint. The Hints also have a five-inch heel and .5-inch hidden platform, which are still high, but more wearable.

DESIGNER ALTERNATES: JIMMY CHOO

Looks like another designer has been knocking on the door of Jimmy Choo. This time affordable label Promise has recreated a pair similar to the Jimmy Choo Claudia Sandals. The brown sandals include yellow and coral stitching, mirror embellishments, a yellow sole and sits on top of a 4.5-inch heel.

The Promise Hong Kong Sandals have the same design as the Claudia’s, but are available in brown and black. The brown pair has red, turquoise and white stitching, red sole and a brown toe bed. The black pair has yellow and white stitching, a yellow sole and black toe bed. Both pairs feature bronze embellishments.

The Promise Hong Kong Sandals originally retailed for $49.97, but the shoes are currently on sale for the super affordable price of $22.00. The Jimmy Choo Claudia sandals originally retailed for $1,395.00, but are on sale for $558.00.

DESIGNER ALTERNATES: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN LEGGINGS

After I featured the looks and designers behind Rihanna’s Rudboy video, one of my twitter friends @MajesticRedz asked if I could find her affordable alternates for Rihanna’s Alexander McQueen Geometric leggings ($635.00). Well, I searched high and low, and coudln’t anything close to the curve hugging lines of the McQueen leggings. So I backtracked and put together some items featuring monochromatic and/or geometric prints, which share the same theme as the McQueen leggings, but cost between $38-$160.

Finally a designer has come to the rescue of those lusting after the Christian Louboutin Lace Booties, which retail for $1,785.00.

The Dollhouse Tish Peep Toe Platform Pumps don’t even come close to the hotness of the Louboutins, but for the price of $75.95, they’ll do for now.

DESIGNER ALTERNATE: GUCCI

When Ashanti attended the 5th anniversary of “Wicked” on Broadway benefit performance at the Gershwin Theatre on October 27, 2008 in New York City, she wore the Gucci Devandra Studded Boots. The boots were hands down the hottest thing on Ashanti. While her hair was tight and she wore a nice little LBD, she seemed a little under dressed for the event.

Nevertheless, our focus today are on the boots. These boots were a must have of celebs this past season. I number of other celebs, such as Dawn from Danity Kane were seen rocking the studded boots.

Lot’s of smaller labels tried to knock off the Gucci Studded Devandra Boots and Gucci Babouska Studded Booties, but none succeeded in making anything as fabulous as the real thing, until Bakers.

Bakers married the studded details of the Gucci Devandra with the slouchy silhouette of the Gucci Ginerva and created the Bakers Studs Boots.

The Devandra boots previously retailed for over $1,500, but are no longer together. The Gucci Ginerva slouchy boot is currently available at Bluefly for $1,112.00. And the Bakers Studs Boots are available on sale from $249.95 to $169.00.

DESIGNER ALTERNATE: GUCCI

When I saw Gucci’s Spring 09 runway show, I was immediately smitten with the Gucci Iman Sandals, which are my favorite from the Spring/Summer 09 collection. The sandals follow the Gucci chic standard, but with a dose of steroids boasting the 4-inch heel even higher with the addition of a double platform. A triple-buckle at the ankle gives this shoe bad girl appeal.

And of course, they’re Gucci, so even if you have bad girl-chic dreams, you need $1,275 to hear that elusive Gucci click-clack with every step you take.

Don’t fret, cause Bebe Sonja Triple Buckle Sandals make the same sound, and will turn just as many heads as you strut… They’re available online and in-stores for $149. That’s means there’s more than enough money to cop a few minis and skinny jeans to perfectly pair with the shoes.

The Iman sandals were presented on the runway in suede, crocodile and metallic leather, and in colors, such as brown, beige and coral, but only the gunmetal, black and mauve leathers are available at Gucci. I adore the nude pair.

And check out a few more shoes from Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Not as fab as the prior season.

DESIGNER ALTERNATE: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN

Today’s Designer Alternate is yet another shoe previously featured on my Because I’m Addicted series, which is a short post where I highlight insanely expensive and equally gorgeous shoes. The Christian Louboutin Peniche, a loafer-inspired peep-toe pumps, aren’t my favorite of the reigning Loubou’s, but they’re still hot. The 5-inch high heel with a 1.5 inch platform initially retailed for $1,050, but they’re currently on sale for $525 at Footcandy.

The Guess Allasandra don’t have the same impact, as the heel isn’t super-spiked like the Louboutins, but nevertheless, the shoe provides the same feel, if that’s what your after. Get them at Guess for $120.

DESIGNER ALTERNATE: BALENCIAGA

The Because I’m Addicted post series surrounds shoes that are insanely expensive. All the BIA shoes are usually over $500, so of course I’m always looking out for some designer alternate for the most popular shoes posted.

The 1st post of the BIA series surrounded flat sandals. The most popular shoe of the post were the Balenciaga Braided Leather Gladiator Sandal. The sandals were originally $695, but were available for $556 from Bluefly. Since the post, the Balenciaga sandals has sold out. But the Dolce Vita Irus Sandal has come along to take it’s place.

Just as the Balenciaga sandals, the Dolce Vita Irus Sandals feature double braided straps with and extra ankle strap and upward fringe at the ankle. The Dolce Vita Irus Sandals are available in Red, blue and nappa brown and retail at Kitson for $145.
