Sam Edelman Fritz Bows & Arrows Clog $148.00
It seems every year another bohemian trend emerges. Last year it was fringe, this year it’s the clog. Unlike fringe, which as a concept, still looked the same – long dangling strands of fabric attached to clothing and shoes, the updated clog is incorporated with different shoe styles.
The clog is made of predominately wood, with leather mule-style vamp and metal studs connecting the wood and leather. It usually has a heavy platform and chunky heel. Designers took the basic concept of the clog and added details such as stiletto, peep toes, straps and buckles, making the ancient style for polished and fashion forward.
