Ok, so I’ve been away from the blog lately. I had some computer and site issues, but they’ve all been resolved, so I’m back at it…on the night of the BET Music awards, no less. So lets do what we do best – talk fashion.
Balmain’s rock-glam designs are right at home at any big music red carpet event, so it was no surprise to see a Fall 2010 Balmain dress wrapped around the body of signer Ciara at the 2010 BET Awards. Her mini dress featured black brocade fabric with gold lacing throughout the body and down the sleeves. The dress was also contained gold fringe that hung from the sleeves and Balmain’s signature bold shoulders. And like all of Balmain’s designs, the dress is far from cheap – it retails for $22,225.50.
Ciara paired the look with Balmain lace-up boots. The boots have previously been worn by Rihanna, Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian, among others and are currently on sale for $1,046.50.
Ciara didn’t get my best dressed of the night, but she rocked a hot look and was probably one of the most expensive looks of the night.
