The month of February was the unofficial Little Black Dress month for Lala Vasquez. She walked the red carpet wearing a different LBD at each event.
Lala and fiance, Carmelo Anthony attended the FABULOUS 23 Dinner hosted by the Jordan Brand during All-Star Weekend. The front of the black mini includes a cutout detail above the bust and an seam down the center of the dress. The entire back is cut out with an exposed zipper down the skirt of the dress. The shoulders include black embroidered appliqué, which keeps it in trend with the strong shoulder look that’s in right now. The dress was designed by Camilla and Marc. The Camilla and Marc Caraletta Frock initially retailed for $590.00, but is currently on sale of $392.00. Lala paired the dress with a black pair of Sergio Rossi Suede Platform Pumps, which retails for $606.00.
On Valentine’s Day Carmelo and Lala attended the Carmelo Anthony Foundation All-Star Brunch. Lala’s
dress this time around was more demure. It was a classic sheath with the addition of an oversized bow. Naturi Naughton and Keke Palmer have each worn the gray version of this dress. The Tt Collection Audry Dress initially retails for $202.00, but is currently on sale for $141.00.
Lala’s latest display of her LBD love was at the 41st NAACP Image Awards Nominees Pre-Show Gala Reception. This black LBD features a asymmetric sleeve across the chest, with a lace insert above the drape-detail bust. And a lave sleeve at the right completes the features of this Helmut Lang dress. The Helmut Lang Lace Arm Dress retails for $425.00. Lala paired the dress with Christian Louboutin Biance Slingbacks, for the addition of a pop of color.
I wonder if Lala purposely wore the same color to each red carpet event she attended, or if it was pure coincidence. Either way, I love each look.
