Monica and Estelle have a few things in common, besides choosing the same career paths – they love the same designers. Understandably so. They both had recent visits to the 106 & Park, displaying this mutual love.
Monica wore the Raphael Young Eagle A booties (pictured below in blue/black). Rihanna recently wore the black/gold version in her Rude Boy video. The booties have a utilitarian look with a brushed metal curved heel and a button-tab on the side that resembles a nail head.
She paired the boots with cropped and cuffed jeans, an embellished cutout shirt, multipled neckaces and a strong-shouldered blazer. The booties and blazer are the perfect combo, as they both have a similar winged silhouette.
Estelle also wore some Raphael Young cutout booties to her 106 & Park visit. Her Raphael Young Gold Crush Antico Booties stand sky high, on top of a heavy platform and skyscraper heel. The open-toe booties’ cutout shape, paired with it’s weathered, gold leather material equal a sculpted piece of shoe-art.
Estelle also wore her denims cuffed, to properly display her Raphael Young booties. Her Alexander McQueen All-In-One jumpsuit had an utilitarian look, but was styled casually.
Monica also loves Alexander McQueen and his designs. She wore exclusive pieces from the designer in her latest video, Everything To Me and dedicated the video to his legacy.
