In conjuction with the 20th anniversary of Keith Haring’s passing, Patricia Field has released the Keith Haring by House of Field collection. The capsule line features pieces inspired by the late artists’ defining work.
Keither Haring started as a graffitti artist, who went from drawing on the black, unused ad spaces on subways, to an iconic artists of the pop art era. He was most known for his bright colors and bold lines. His works could be considered “art in motion” as figures seemed to move and pop of the medium, as if in 3D.
Haring’s most notable characters are the “Rading Boy,” which became his calling symbol early in his career, as well as the “Three-Eyed Face.” Both figures are heavily used throughout the collection by Patricia Fields. The pieces are priced from $72.00 (a scarf) to $840.00 (a corseted gown). Most pieces cost an average of $150.00.
So far my favorite are the Patch jeans, Radiant Boy dress, Three-Eyed scarf and the clutches.
