I gasped when first saw The Topless Bikini from Victoria’s Secret. My first thought was who would walk around with half of a bikini? Well, those with enough hair extensions to cover the tatas, apparently… But the description provides that a removable bandeau top exists, which totally makes sense. Kudos to Victoria’s Secret’s marketers for coming up with such a controversial title for this product – it definitely caught my eyes.
The Topless Bikini or the bikini bottom is actually perfect in a number of occurrences. It’s the ideal swimsuit for moms with “the fire below” (Wendy Williams’ reference to post-pregnancy stretch marks on the lower abdomen). It’ll cover up those evil scars, but still let you wear a two-piece bikini comfortably.
It’s also a perfect addition to any beach-vacation wardrobe. Mix and match swim wear for new looks on the beach. The topless bikini bottom only comes in black, so feel free to add tops with color and prints to stand out.
