We’ve already talked about Jennifer Hudson’s previous hot shoe styles: the Givenchy cutouts she wore to the NAACP Awards, and her blue Christian Louboutin Pumps she wore to the Grammy’s. Now it’s time to take a look at the rest of her shoe game, since her return to the spotlight.
Most recently, she wore the Balenciaga Wrapped Gladiator Sandals to the 2009 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis on February 7, 2009. The shoes are hot. They wrap around her leg and climb a few inches up the back up her ankle, giving the shoe even more appeal from the back.
Angela Simmons was also seen wearing the black and white version of the shoe.
The shoes retail at Barney’s for $1,245.00 and retail at Bluefly for $996.00 in almost the exact same sizes. Yeah, I’ll have to start checking Bluefly right-off when I’m looking or a hot pair of shoes. Who knew they received stock as the shoe is fully stocked within the high-end department stores.
She performed at the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Neil Diamond at the Los Angeles Convention Center on February 6, 2009 wearing the Christian Louboutin Platform Lace-up Booties. This is also a hot shoe, though I liked the closed-toe version, worn by Ciara in her latest video, a lot better. They’re available online for $1,195.00.
Jennifer made her initial return to the scene to perform the National Anthem during the pre-game show prior to the Super Bowl XLII between the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers on February 1, 2009. She wore an Alexander McQueen military inspired jacket, white top and black pants. She finished her look off with brown Sigerson Morrison Gladiator Wedges with cooper assents. They retail for $795.00.
I can’t wait to see what’s wrapped her around her feet next.
