Amber Rose accompanied Kanye West on his Fall ‘09 fashion show tour. I’m sure Kanye had a huge hand in dressing her for each event. And I’m not just saying that because she stayed in camel-toe-inducing spandex; we all know that’s what men want us to wear 24/7. But the real reason for my supposed rapper-turned stylist job of Kanye’s, is because of what she wore on her feet.
If you’ve read Kanye’s blog once or twice, you’ve heard him express his deep love for the designs of Balenciaga and Pierre Hardy, who has also contributed to Balenciaga designs. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Miss Rose is rocking both design houses, with a little bit of Alexander McQueen and converse thrown in for good measure. Great choices Kanye.
Some of the shoes may look familiar, as they’ve been worn by our favorite coveted fashionistas. Amber’s gray suede boots, from Balenciaga’s Pre-Fall 08 collection, were worn by singer Rihanna, but in black leather.
Vanessa Simmons initially rocked beige & white Pierre Hardy Fisherman Platform sandals, to the Grammy awards. Amber Rose wore the black, blue & white pair, my favorites, with black socks. Seemed like an odd pairing, but it worked for her. This look, with the red leggins, Pierre Hardy sandals and shades were my favorite of Amber’s look.
Amber’s also rocked the Alexander McQueen Fluro Contrast booties and white tone-on-ton Converse All-Stars, for her other appearances. We still think Amber should have opted for the studded converse instead of the white.
But overall, Amber isn’t alone in her (and Kanye’s) haute shoe fetish, so we’re anticipating her next move.

Hmph. I refuse to think of her as a celebrity, BUT her shoes are hot! I love Balenciaga and Pierre Hardy, chick definitely has taste!
