Kim Kardashian has been making her way around Bryant Park for the Fall ’09 runway shows, and I have to say that I’m impressed with each of her style choices. She first attended the Y-3 Fall 2009 show, with her boyfriend, Reggie Bush. She wore slim leather pants, with a structural Maison Martin Margiela jacket, a black clutch and Christian Louboutin Platform pumps.
I could just picture Lady Gaga in this jacket paired with some bloomers, but it also worked for Kim K. And if you can’t appreciate this look on her, at least appreciate the fact that she’s stepping out of the box and taking a chance with a new silhouette.
Kim also attended the Tracy Reese Fall 2009 runway show, with Reggie in tow. She wore my second favorite Tracy Reese Spring 09 piece. Recall, Veronica Webb ruined my favorite Tracy Reese dress. But Kim K came through and didn’t leave me disappointed. She paired the dress with a skinny black belt and Christian Louboutin platform pumps. Outside of the tents, she wore a Burberry Trench with patent pipping to shield her from the cold.
She also attended the Alice & Olivia presentation with her sister Khloe Kardashian. There, they both salivated over future red carpet potentials, as well as choose pieces to sell in their Calabasas boutique.
Alice & Olivia dressed her in a white vest & pants suit with a multi-strand silver necklace for the presentation. This look is very refreshing, but I hate her huge vintage Farray Fawcet hair.
Kim’s last attendance at New York fashion week was to the Badgley Mischka Fall 2009 show. She was accompanied by her sister, Khloe Kardashian. There, they both wore dresses designed by the styling duo of Badley & Mischka.
And of course, Kim K couldn’t go without wearing another one-shoulder dress – she’s been favoring them lately. Her hair was pulled back to show off the asymmetric design of this Badgley Mischka Platinum Label Beaded Silk Chiffon dress. She finished the look with her favorite Yves Saint Laurent Pumps.
