Vanessa Simmons floated across the red carpet at the Grammys. I loved this look on her. The Simmons Girls are always very fashionable, without taking themselves too seriously. And Venessa stayed true to herself and opted for this laid-back Cali-chic look, instead of the usual glits and glam that’s often overdone on the Grammy’s red carpet.
She wore a vintage-yellow colored dress and nude platform sandals with a matching belt. The dresses’ color and style was in-trend, as vintage yellow and one-shoulder pieces were seen all over Spring ’09′s runways. The wrapped skirt of the dress was the perfect length to show off Vanessa’s shoes.
The shoes were very unexpected, as you wouldn’t expect to see it paired with this type of dress. But I’m glad, because the Louboutin silhoutte dominated the night’s red carpet.

And since celebrities usually gravitate to more colorful creations by the Hardy cobblers, the company has provided a few more options for the Fisherman sandals. The blue ones are calling my name.
