When Ashanti attended the 5th anniversary of “Wicked” on Broadway benefit performance at the Gershwin Theatre on October 27, 2008 in New York City, she wore the Gucci Devandra Studded Boots. The boots were hands down the hottest thing on Ashanti. While her hair was tight and she wore a nice little LBD, she seemed a little under dressed for the event.
Nevertheless, our focus today are on the boots. These boots were a must have of celebs this past season. I number of other celebs, such as Dawn from Danity Kane were seen rocking the studded boots.
Lot’s of smaller labels tried to knock off the Gucci Studded Devandra Boots and Gucci Babouska Studded Booties, but none succeeded in making anything as fabulous as the real thing, until Bakers.
Bakers married the studded details of the Gucci Devandra with the slouchy silhouette of the Gucci Ginerva and created the Bakers Studs Boots.
