Today’s Designer Alternate is yet another shoe previously featured on my Because I’m Addicted series, which is a short post where I highlight insanely expensive and equally gorgeous shoes. The Christian Louboutin Peniche, a loafer-inspired peep-toe pumps, aren’t my favorite of the reigning Loubou’s, but they’re still hot. The 5-inch high heel with a 1.5 inch platform initially retailed for $1,050, but they’re currently on sale for $525 at Footcandy.
The Guess Allasandra don’t have the same impact, as the heel isn’t super-spiked like the Louboutins, but nevertheless, the shoe provides the same feel, if that’s what your after. Get them at Guess for $120.
