Some while ago Janet Jackson wore an Alexander McQueen dress to the BMI Awards. She was my fashion favorite for the night, even with the beret. The very sophisticated LBD has a wool and silk blend bottom and a multi-layered, ruched sheer top. Super hot look and I love the high collar.
Ms. Jackson’s Alexander McQueen Deep V-Neck Dress currently retails for $1,203, down from $2,005. That may be a deal for some, but 95% of Americans would find the French Connection alternate much more appealing.
The French Connection Smock Something Dress doesn’t have the same tailored details as the Alexander McQueen dress, but it does have the same silhouette as the sophisticated LBD. And the elastic waist can easily be smartened up with a wide belt. But the most attractive aspect of this dress is the price. It currently retails for $49.99, on sale from $188.00.
