Just the other day, I was on Twitter talking about a resolution for folks with a certain type of toe crust. I had noticed more than a few ladies walking around with ashy/crustiness around their cuticles. I’m always walking with my head down, as it’s usually stuck on my iPhone, so it wasn’t hard for me to notice. The thing was, each lady wore dark or colorful nail polish. I would think that the ladies would have went for a light ecru, grey or crust color. But I guess that would have been as easy as moisturizing the foots on a daily basis… But for others, a lil dark nail polish is perfect to hide a different affliction.
House of Payne actress, Demetria McKinney, walked the red carpet at the 12th Annual Black Film Festival. I guess she doesn’t have “people” to let her know when something about her look isn’t just right. And just to confirm, irregular toe nail color isn’t right, for the red carpet at least. Since she looked like she dressed in 5 minutes or less, I’m sure she isn’t one who tries to keep up with the latest trends or cover unsightly discolorations…
Also in attendance at the event was Halle Berry, Angell Conwell, Ben Lee, Paige Hurd, Anthony Mackie, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Robi Reed, Thelma Hopkins.
