Last night Rihanna was the star of the night at the Much Music Video Awards show in Toronto, Canada. She arrived in a high-waist floor-length skirt and simple tank. Quit conservative, but I appreciate it. She actually could have easily stopped there, but instead she decided to pair the ensemble with a suspendered belt. This accessory leaves me all types of confused. Why? Why white? Why with this outfit? And why does a belt need suspenders?
But her hair and other accessories were on point as always. It seems like she’s chopping an inch off with every appearance. Her current cut reminds me of T-Boz without the side pieces. And the make-up is fab too.
Rihanna switched it up for her “Take a Bow” performance. She wore all black, just as she does with most of her performances. But this time she with latex leggings, patent leather boots and a severely ruffled shirt. I’m not sure if she took inspiration from the Village People or a Russian porn scene. Either way, Ri-Ri looked hot.
