Recently Lauren Conrad and Jennifer Hudson were both seen wearing tights with ankle-wrapped gladiator sandals. It’s a risky look. Tights already cut off the leg near the ankle, making the legs look short. Then there’s an aditional line from the ankle strap creating yet another break in the leg line, thus making the leg look even shorter. I’m a little over 5 feet, so of course, this is not a good look for me. But do you think this look is wearable or terrible?
And if you thought wearing tights as pants was horrible, Jennifer had the nerve to wear sheers. I have no words…

I don’t likt the look of cutoff tights, period. This ios just one of the many faux-pas involving tights IMO.
I also agree with you on the visual effect of this pairing, and I think Jennifer Hudson, in particular, should avoid this kind of stuff. I’m a curvy girl myself – gotta know what you can’t pull off!

j.hud i love you too pieces…but those tights..*bscott voice* OH NO MA’AM!! like you said, cutoff tights around the ankle made your legs look 2x bigger & shorter when you’re curvier – lauren can pull it off. and jenny’s are sheer..lawd. the only thing i like are the shoes! which i will be getting from nine west

Honestly, Jennifer should know better. I’m all about thick girls empowerment but that ish looks retarded, not complimentary on her. Unfortunately there are some things that only skinny, short (clear) girls can pull off – Lauren looks cute.
