Ok, I know I’ve posted on this not once but twice already, but we all have to come together to put an end to the madness. It’s spreading like the plague; seeping into the water system and influencing others as they innocently brush their teeth, or wash dishes. It is the most awful aspect of DK’s style that has spawned onto other celebs.
Last night the Heatherette Duo Richie Rich and Traver Rains had yet another launch for their MAC Heatherette Collection, this time in NY.
Star Treker Teyana Taylor arrived wearing the same concoction D. Woods wore to the Welcome to The Dollhouse album release party. Not to be outdone by Miss Woods’ black high-tops, Teyana wore some crisp low-top Nikes.
Does wearing pumps with this dress throws off one’s equilibrium or something? Are the sneakers mandatory? *shrugs* Either way I’m wagging my finger until I hear about a broken pinky toe or in-grown toenail.
TT also performed at the event. And I’m not going to lie, I love some Google Me.
Other celebs in attendance that night included Angela and Venessa Simmons, Nina Sky, Julissa and Amanda “At Lease She Doesn’t Look As Bad As the Cat Woman” Lepore.
The second occurrence of the DK influence comes from the third appearance of those McChunkies that the DK members love swapping. Though I have to admit that since Mariah wore them while co-hosting the Hills season premiere, the shoes have gotten a little more fab.

that look is hot for teyana. thats her style and she’s a solo artist. she’s rocked heatherette before. funky/rock/hip-hop/rocker is her. d woods, on the other hand, is a part of a group. she takes risks that go against the group dynamic and it looks odd. they all are in heels and not her. but the sneakers work for teyana because its her style. if this is d. woods style, then perhaps they should reconsider the group image because it makes me go “RMRMRPH!?!” when i see her along side her bandmates. now if i saw teyana in some heels, i’d be shocked, she’s teenager and that look is really appropriate for her
