I have some good news regarding the party. Lolo won a door prize. FINALLY… No, I didn’t win the 42′ flat panel tv, but I won a casio digital camera. But I just received a cute little pink Kodak Easyshare V803 for my bday a few months ago, so I planned to return the camera to Bestbuy, where our company purchased all the other cameras, portable dvd players and iPods they gave away that night.
When we returned to the office the next day, I learned that I was nominated for another Bronze medal award, which comes with a $250.00 to a company of my choice. This time around, I opted for Amazon gift cards. My coworker was also nominated for the same prized, but he wanted my camera. So we worked it out. He sent me $150.00of his giftcards for Amazon, for my prized camera, which was priced at $169.00. A good deal from both angles.
So I spent my $400.00 worth of giftcards on the Not Mes of my life. A Not Me is anyone who is not me. Yep, my siblings have reproduced, which means Lolos spends too much money this time of year. And actually throughout the year, if you think about all the birthdays and baby shower gifts. I have a total of 3 nieces, 4 nephews and 1 goddaughter. And at approximately $40 a pop, they’ve become costly. I just got over spend $100.00 each on back to back baby showers for the two newborns. And this is reason why I don’t have kids, there too expensive. But as Aunt Lolo, I can’t resist spending. I love my babies though…
