So now that Keeping up with the Kardashians is over, what say you all? Did any one actually watch Kim Kardashian and Co.?

As the head of household, husband to Kris, step-father to the 4 oldest Kardashians and father to Kendal and Kylie, Bruce was a surprise character. With all the drama surrounding the older girls, you would think that all discipline was missing from their lives. But Bruce was right there to wag his conservative finger. I liked that they would seek his approval and felt the need to hide things from him. It showed him as the disciplinarian. Unfortunately, when more of the girl’s antics were revealed to him, his sole punishment was a speech of condemnation, ending with “well you have to grow up sometimes…”

Kris is the exact opposite of Bruce. Her Jimmy Choos were clacking right along with her daughters. She forgot she was the mother, and took on the role of “older” sister some years ago. I’m not saying that Kris should “act her age”, but she should have put her foot down, instead of sweeping her daughters’ scandals under the rug, and moving on without a thought of discipline. Hopefully she won’t make the same mistake with the little girls or she’ll be blowing up Mr. Shapiro’s voicemail. Maybe if she started paying attention to them now…

At times the baby sisters were more interesting than the rest of the cast. They are Girls Gone Wild bound, with 4 inch heels and a stripper pole… Wait 6 years, and then give them their own show. I don’t think Bruce’s disciplinarian stance will be enough from keeping the girls from going over to the dark side. Maybe if he eventually got a little help from Kris…

I was surprised that Kim wasn’t apart of every episode. But then again, I’m not complaining; she wasn’t the actual “star” of the show. Kim and Kourtney were uninteresting as nameless individuals, until drama unfolded. But that Khloe… That Khloe had me laughing each episode. Some would call her a bitch, but I call her truthful. Her comments are so blunt, especially during the commentary. I can’t say that she was jealous of Kim but maybe it was that middle-ish child syndrome. Either way her “Kim, Kim, Kim, it’s always about Kim,” raised a few eyebrows.

Some have speculated that the last episode was setup. I halfway agree. It’s not as if the sisters having a sex scandal reach the media is a far fetched idea. And as a cast, they are too dingy to pull this one of. It was obvious that Kim’s tears were real. But with the timing of this new “scandal”, I do believe that the outsiders of the family or producers could have set the whole thing up. The phone call that could have gotten the tabloid girl fired; to the FBI arresting the suspects and halting any publishing of the scandalous photos just in time, made for good TV and a perfect season finally.

Oh and I agree with Tyra, the older sisters do need to sit down with the little ones and talk to them about “exposing” themselves improperly. The convo seems a little premature when you think about the girls age, but if you saw the little girl on the striper pole, you’ll know it’s past due. The speech that Kim gave to the girls on the last episode was BS. But with Kourtney’s comments of “every teenager takes sex photos”, I don’t think that they are aware of the image their providing to the littles ones. Oh and as an L.A. girl, I disagree with Kourtney. The teenage sex photo, is a North of Sunset thing… Wait, no it’s a Kardashian thing.

The Dash sisters’ antics were just that. It’s obvious that some aspects of the show were scripted; firing mom, the Vegas wedding and cleaning up Shorty. These setups happen on every show, but it takes the right cast to keep the audience entertained. Khloe and Kourtney play fighting and imitating Kim’s poses, was not entertaining, but I kept watching anyway. And to my disappointment, no Reggie Bush. Was I the only one waiting for him to appear?

The show was a bit bland at times, but the wardrobes alone were worth the watch. And the fact that the family has two retail stores, Dash and Smooch, in Calabasas, helped too. Say what you want, but those girls had style, and I share their love for contemporary designers. So of course, I had to bring the Dash style
